Pat DellaRocco passed into eternal rest on March 30, 2015. Pat was born in New Haven, Connecticut in May 1910 to Josephine and Francisco who immigrated from Caserta, Italy. Pat was almost 105 years old. For 73 years he was married to Mary, who predeceased him in 2009. They made their home for many years in New York City, Astoria and Chestnut Ridge. Pat recently was a resident in Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehab Facility. Pat worked as a trolley car motorman and then as a bus driver in New York City for 40 years...

Pat DellaRocco passed into eternal rest on March 30, 2015. Pat was born in New Haven, Connecticut in May 1910 to Josephine and Francisco who immigrated from Caserta, Italy. Pat was almost 105 years old. For 73 years he was married to Mary, who predeceased him in 2009. They made their home for many years in New York City, Astoria and Chestnut Ridge. Pat recently was a resident in Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehab Facility. Pat worked as a trolley car motorman and then as a bus driver in New York City for 40 years before retiring in 1975. Pat was a WW11 veteran who served in Europe and Africa. Pat loved fishing and driving was his passion. Pat will always be remembered for his sense of humor, singing and enjoying the outdoors. Pat will be missed as he was a wonderful, kind, generous and loving man.

Pat is survived by his loving three children, Frank, Pat and Barbara. Daughter-in laws Rita and Connie and his son-in-law, Frank Hutton. Pat was the cherished Grandfather of Bradley Hutton, his wife Kim, Bridget Hutton, Christopher DellaRocco and his wife Pam, Florence and her husband Michael, and Denise DellaRocco Munafo. Pat is also survived by great grandchildren, Arianna, Carly, Brendon, Sydney and Sophia.

Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Service. Mass will take place Thursday 10:15am St. Margaret's Church. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery.
