George J Tooma Sr, 96, of Garnerville, NY, born in Philadelphia, Staff Sgt in US Army, retired Forman from General Moters Tarrytown and Lifelong member of D.B. R Volunteer Fire Dept, passed on November 25th. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carmella "Millie" (Iannelli) Tooma and sisters Lulu, Anna and Mary. Survived by his children Patricia Nielsen, Barbara, George Jr (Lauren), John (Julie), Joanne Mulholland (Ed), 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, Siblings Elizabeth Ostrowski, Theresa Tkach, Thomas Tooma and many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services to be held at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City NY on Monday 5-9 with services on Tuesday at 10am followed by a Military service at St Anthony's in Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers send donations to David B Roach Volunteer Fire Department in Thiells, NY or Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY.
